Collection Services
Euclid Management Company provides an in house Collections Department, dedicated exclusively to managing and tracking all delinquent accounts through the collection process. We implement and enforce the board-approved collection policy, which includes generating and mailing all collection letters (courtesy letter, intent to lien letter, lien letter, and recorded lien letter), ensuring the association is in compliance with the California Civil Code.
Our Collection Department delivers the following services:
· Each month the Board will receive three collection reports: the Collection Analysis Overview; Collection Status Report; and, an Aging Report. The Collection Analysis Overview will identify all action that is required at the Board Meeting; such as lien approval, foreclosure resolutions, payment plans, etc. The Collection Status Report will include a detailed, written history of each delinquent account, along with correspondence and status reports from outside legal counsel or collection agencies.
· We will provide each month, or as requested, a list of delinquent homeowners.
· We offer customized collections efforts. We will analyze and recommend strategies that best suit your association’s needs. We also work diligently with association attorneys to collect delinquent assessments.
· Represent the Board in Small Claims Court for assessment collection. We will prepare the small claims filing, coordinate the servicing to defendants, and appear in small claims court on behalf of the association. We will coordinate the collection of a judgment with the Association’s law firm by means of filing abstracts, wage garnishments and/or bank levies.
· We have several law firms specializing in various aspects of association collection law who are available to our associations at preferred rates.
· We will also coordinate with outside collection agencies, with specific knowledge and experience in association assessment accounts, which can assist in the collection effort on past owners with delinquent balances.
· We can secure the services of a private investigator to locate delinquent owners who are no longer living in the property.
